By stepping across the threshold of Grim Tavern — be it in body or in spirit through these hallowed pages — ye agree to a few simple truths and hearty understandings:

The stories, rules, and legends you find here are crafted for fellowship, inspiration, and a touch of merry chaos. This tavern stands independent, owing allegiance to no crown, company, or council — save for the spirits (the drinking kind) and the spirit of adventure itself.

Rules of Play: All game-related rules, mechanics, spells, and mighty deeds shared within Grim Tavern currently follow the 2014 Edition of the grand gaming tomes. Most ongoing campaigns in these realms still tread that well-worn path, and so too shall we — for now.

Yet mark these words: the winds of change blow strong! As new editions and errata ride into town, Grim Tavern shall adapt. New rules shall be posted in their due time, and both old guard and fresh-faced adventurers will find a warm welcome at our hearth.

Official Matters: Grim Tavern is a place of fans, by fans, for fans. We are not bound by any publisher’s coin, nor do we claim rights to any trademarks, titles, or creations not of our own hand. All references are offered in the spirit of homage, storytelling, and a little good-natured mischief.
